Our trip to New Hampshire was cancelled at the last minute due to the threat of a government shutdown. But Brandon Stephens refused to give up. He told me to pack a bag and jump in the car. Hours later, we arrived in the French Quarter and checked into the Westin on Canal Street. Welcome to NOLA!
Brandon had never been to NOLA, so it was fun introducing him to Cafe du Monde. Needless to say, he was a huge fan of beignets and cafe au laite!
A highlight was looking at art and architecture. We stayed at the the historic Pelham Hotel and enjoyed oysters on the half shell at Sammy's. It was a fun, unexpected trip!
