Decking Out the Holidays - 2011

We started celebrating Christmas early this year...and took advantage of some fun events around town. We had an outing with Ms. Pat to the Gaylord Texan's Shreck on ICE display. The Gaylord had several wonderful trees and a great train display.
We also visited the Trains exhibit at North Park Mall.
Given paused long enough to let us take pictures with him, but he was enthralled the entire time we were there.
The Christmas decorating started after Thanksgiving leftovers were devoured. We have three trees up, in addition to a small pine forest of three trees. Given hung the stockings...there were 11 of them before we added two antique boots.
This is "Mom's Choice" tree with white poinsettias, silver balls, and purple balls...favorite colors. Given did a great job of trimming it up to the top!
Given's Hot Wheels tree is in his room this year. We love the tradition of putting this cool and fun tree together.
This is the small little forest that lights up the living room So simple, yet always one of my favorites. Given decorated it with miniature ornaments.

We hope you're getting in the spirit!
