Back to School

What an exciting day!  Given returned to school -- now he's in the 1st Grade!  He met Mrs. Hamilton, and said she is really nice.  He was the line leader today -- the first of the year : )  He made new friends and enjoyed playing with new ones.  Here's to another great year!

If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

Language Belongs to Poets

Poetry, indeed, cannot be translated; and, therefore, it is the poets that preserve the languages; for we would not be at the trouble to learn a language if we could have all that is written in it just as well in a translation.

But as the beauties of poetry cannot be preserved in any language except that in which it was originally written, we learn the language.

-Samuel Johnson, lexicographer (1709-1784)

Say Cheese for theMomofG
If we could all hear one another's prayers, God might be relieved of some of his burdens.
– Ashleigh Brilliant

Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- Galatians 6:2
To seek God's wisdom is, essentially, to see things the same way God sees them.

A Thought That I Love:

If it's too small to make a prayer,
it's too small to make
a burden.

Do you know what you want?

To realize one’s Personal Legend is a person’s only obligation. And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

– Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
